We scope the first increment deliberately small so it reaches production quickly and you can react to something real. From there it is weekly sprints with demos you can respond to, rather than a months-long silence ending in a reveal.

Will we be locked into you?

No. Every build is handed over versioned, monitored and documented, and it runs on infrastructure you control.

Lock-in is usually accidental — undocumented systems, credentials nobody else has, architecture only one team understands. We treat handover as part of the build rather than an afterthought, so bringing the work in-house or moving it to another team stays a decision you can make.
